The Belotero hyaluronic fillers consist of a cohesive gel made from cross-linked hyaluronic acid and have firmer and more flexible zones. This means that the gel fits perfectly into the fine gaps in the skin. Particularly soft bridges are created between the treated and untreated areas. The cross-linked gels are called Belotero Soft, Belotero Balance, Belotero Intense and Belotero Volume. They are made from non-animal tissue, are very well tolerated and are approved as medical products. The gels are available with or without lidocaine.
Belotero Balance is particularly suitable for correcting moderate lines and wrinkles and for plumping up the lips. It smoothes the forehead including glabellar lines, nasolabial folds, the transverse chin crease and marionette lines. The lip contour and lip volume can be corrected very well with Belotero Balance. In particular, it can be used to emphasize the cupid's bow and the philtrum and to lift the corners of the mouth. It is also suitable for scar correction.
Belotero Balance is available in a ready-to-use syringe (1 ml) with a very high concentration of multicrosslinked hyaluronic acid: it contains 22.5 mg/ml of crosslinked sodium hyaluronate and phosphate buffer pH 7 q. s.: 1ml.
Belotero Balance is also available with lidocaine.
CAUTION - important note: The Belotero Balance prefilled syringes are intended for injection by a doctor. As the injection technique is essential for the success of the treatment, it may only be used by doctors who can provide evidence of special training.
