The Belotero hyaluronic fillers consist of a cohesive gel made from cross-linked hyaluronic acid and have firmer and more flexible zones. This means that the gel fits perfectly into the fine gaps in the skin. Particularly soft bridges are created between the treated and untreated areas. The cross-linked gels are called Belotero Soft, Belotero Balance, Belotero Intense and Belotero Volume. They are made from non-animal tissue, are very well tolerated and are approved as medical products. The gels are available with or without lidocaine.
Belotero Volume was specially developed to restore lost volume in the cheeks, cheekbones and chin. While fillers such as Belotero Intense and Belotero Balance provide excellent corrective results for medium to deep wrinkles around the mouth, nose and eyes, Belotero Volume is more suitable when greater volume is required.
Belotero Volume consists of cross-linked sodium hyaluronate of non-animal origin and is available in a very high concentration: it contains 26 mg/ml cross-linked sodium hyaluronate and phosphate buffer pH 7 q. s.: 1ml It is also available with lidocaine.
CAUTION - important note: The Belotero Volume Hyaluronsäure-Filler prefilled syringes are intended for injection by a doctor. As the injection technique is essential for the success of the treatment, it may only be used by physicians who can provide evidence of special training.
