Restylane Defyne is suitable for the correction of deep wrinkles or a moderate loss of skin volume. It is used to treat deep facial wrinkles (e.g. nasolabial folds), marionette lines that run down from the corners of the mouth, and tear troughs (dark circles).
Restylane is injected directly into the wrinkles using an extremely thin needle. The hyaluronic acid depot that is introduced binds the moisture under the skin, lifts and smoothes the wrinkle, and the skin appears youthful, fresh and smooth again. The treatment takes only a short time, usually less than 30 minutes. The improvements are immediately visible.
Restylane is a biosynthetically produced, injectable hyaluronic acid gel. It is manufactured based on a patented technology for the stabilization of hyaluron, namely the Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid (NASHA) technology. The active ingredient concentration of Restylane Defyne is HA 20 mg/ml and 3 mg lidocaine.
